TikTok ads come in several different formats like

  1. In-feed ads: These are short video ads that appear in a user's TikTok feed as they scroll through content.

  2. Brand Takeover ads: These are full-screen ads that appear when a user opens the TikTok app. They can include a static image, a GIF, or a short video.

  3. Hashtag challenges: These are sponsored challenges that encourage users to create and share content related to a particular hashtag. Brands can promote their own hashtag challenge to reach a wider audience.

  4. Branded effects: These are custom filters, stickers, and other visual effects that brands can create and promote to TikTok users.

  5. TopView ads: These are similar to Brand Takeover ads, but they are only available to one advertiser per day. They also include an autoplay video ad that appears when a user first opens the TikTok app
